1, 2, 3, Go!

For about a year now, we have been working with a group of French and Quebec marine researchers to create and launch a new research initiative in subarctic benthic ecology, called the BeBEST laboratory (BeBEST stands for "Benthic Biodiversity Ecology, Sciences and Technologies").

Earlier this year, we participated in the official launch meeting at the Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR) where got to visit their facilities and learn more about the specialities of all the participants.

We are pleased to be part of this unique group, which has for mission not only the application of advanced technologies in ecological research but also supports a strongly interdisciplinary goal of bringing together artists and scientists around long-term collaborative projects.
