We were honored to give a presentation at one of the prestigious ICES conferences on socio-ecological systems, this year in Brest, France. Our presentation was about the theoretical development underlying a new system-based approach to environmental impact assessment.
This work has been part of our ongoing collaboration with industry professionals, such as those at Gravity Marine.
A complete research article will appear in an upcoming special issue of the ICES Journal of Marine Sciences (anticipated date: 2017).
Meeting title: "Understanding marine socio-ecological systems: including the human dimension in Integrated Ecosystem Assessments", 30 May - 3 June 2016
